Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2 of 2000 — Section 51 Manual

About this manual

This manual is compiled in accordance with Section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). It describes the records held by Stori, the procedures for requesting access to those records, and the rights of requesters.

Our Information Officer is responsible for handling access requests. You may contact us at hello@thestori.co.za with any queries relating to this manual or a request for access to records.

How to submit an access request

To request access to records held by Stori, submit a written request to our Information Officer at hello@thestori.co.za. Your request must include:

  • Your full name and contact details
  • A description of the records you are requesting
  • The form in which you would like to receive the records (e.g. copy, inspection)
  • The reason for the request, if it relates to a third party's records

We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request. The prescribed request fee and access fee may apply in accordance with PAIA regulations.

If you are not satisfied with our response to an access request, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa:
