No. You can sell as an individual, a sole trader, or a registered business. What matters is that the products you sell are genuinely handmade by you or your collective.
Our team reviews every application personally and aims to respond within 5 business days. We may request photos of your work or ask a few follow-up questions to better understand your craft.
Yes — Stori is open to makers across South Africa. We ship nationally through our courier partners, so your location doesn't limit who you can sell to.
Once a buyer's order is marked as delivered, your earnings enter a 14-day settlement hold. This short window protects buyers in case an item arrives damaged. After 14 days without a dispute, your payout is released to your registered bank account. You can track every settlement from your vendor dashboard.
Commission depends on your plan — Standard vendors pay 14% per sale, Pro vendors pay 12%. Founding Vendors who joined during the launch programme have a fixed rate starting at 13%, which reduces further through our referral programme.
